I need to update more often. I don't have an office like, well, everyone else so that isn't as easy as I was assuming it would be. I also don't have a classroom. (I teach in the cafeteria.) I don't teach on the same floors as the other teachers (which makes me feel like the reject.) My college class is not helping my opinion of the classroom. I was not told about the college class until I had been here about 2 weeks. Even then, I was told I was teaching a Tourism class which is basically resumes and cover letters. (And told this was their final year of college and they were preparing for the job market.) Things I learned last night:
1. When they said class was at 3:30, and then 4:20 but no, really, 5:15. They meant 4:00.
2. When they say, "it is their last class" what they meant was that no one would know any English.
Doesn't that sound awesome?
I really need to update often but I don't have continued access to the internet and the computer like the other teachers do. I am supposed to be getting my own classroom when we move the end of October, so maybe then I can get back in the habit.

Um, I'm not sure I would like to teach the Tourism class. How are you suppose to teach them how to do a resume if they don't speak English and you don't speak Korean? I'm hoping for your sanity that there is a translator or translator device present for this class.
